Next Stop: Las Vegas! The Club's officer team invites you to join the Club on our fall-2009 trip to Las Vegas from November 8th to the 13th. Please sign up soon, because we can accommodate only 24 students. We will visit businesses associated with marketing/advertising, gaming (yes, casinos!), water-resource management, real estate, banking, and financial services. We will also tour Hoover Dam, attend evening shows, and enjoy lots of free time to roam this great city! So don't delay. Spots are going fast! The last day to put down a NONREFUNDABLE deposit of $250 (which you can drop off in the main office of the Economics Department in Scobey Hall) is September 22nd; but, we do not recommend that you wait until the last day. The final payment of $225 is due by October 6th. These payments cover the costs of airfare, lodging, ground transportation, and some event fees. Finally, in order join us on the trip, you need to join the Club. Club dues are $20. You may drop off your payment in cash or check (made payable to the SDSU Economics Club) at the Economics Department main office in Scobey Hall. You can also hand your payment to our Treasurer, Heather Turnis, at the monthly Club meeting. Please note that this is a not-for-profit event, so any funds that remain after all trip expenses are covered will be returned to you (at the beginning of the trip).
